Description
PRACTICAL INSPIRATION
Wegner came up with the idea for the Valet Chair in 1951, following a long talk about the problems of folding clothes in the most practical manner when it was time for bed.
FUN FLEXIBILITY
Wegner took his ideas of how to solve this and united the functions with playful, sculptural design.
FULLY FUNCTIONAL
The top rail is shaped like a coat hanger, and the seat is a box for storing.
ROYAL RECOGNITION
The Danish King Frederik IX ordered a total of ten Valet Chairs upon seeing the finished design.
