But Arne Jacobsen believed in his design and the Ant Chair quickly became an international success. This chair is ideally suited the human body as Jacobsen shaped the core of Danish design identity when he accommodated three different bends in one piece of plywood, simply by narrowing the back. It give a comfortable seatback, and its waterfall seatback does not press into legs.
